Pair of 19th Century Anglo-Indian Carved Hardwood Table Lamps

A handsome pair of late 19th-century Anglo-Indian carved hardwood table lamps, circa 1880–1900. The tall columnar stems are richly hand carved with scrolling foliage, raised on substantial square plinth bases decorated with leaves and acorns. Beautifully aged, with a deep warm brown patina and wonderful variation to the hand carving. Originally decorative carved elements, they have subsequently been converted and wired as table lamps.
