A pair of small cloisonné enamel jars of squat ovoid form, worked in wire cloisonné on a turquoise ground, decorated with scrolling foliage, flowerheads, and butterflies in red, cream, green and gilt, with a band of stylised lappets and geometric borders to the neck. Interiors and rims in dark blue enamel. Attractive age and patina, with some expected wear and minor losses to the enamel consistent with age.
