Late 19th Turned Burr Wood Column Table Lamp

Turned column table lamp base in richly figured burr wood (likely burr walnut or elm), raised on a stepped square plinth. The turned column has a ring-moulded neck below the fitting and a graduated bulbous knop above the base, with fine dark grain figuring throughout. Brass bayonet fitting and gallery to the top, on later flex. Warm honey-brown tone with good natural figuring; a traditional/Victorian-style turned form.

Rewired and PAT tested.
