A elegant antique French side table in walnut, the shaped top with a quartered parquetry veneer in a diamond pattern and a moulded edge. Fitted with a single frieze drawer with a wrought iron swan neck handle. Raised on turned and fluted legs with carved collars and toupie feet, joined by an X-shaped stretcher with a central urn finial. Lovely warm colour and patina. Ideal as a writing table, lamp table or occasional table in a hallway or bedroom. Late 19th Century
