Large Framed Antique Kandayan Wood Panel
A extremely large antique Kandayan lotus painting on wood panel. Originally from a temple wall or wooden doors. The lotus is hugely symbolic in Sri Lanka and the tradition of painting lotus designs dates back to ancient Ceylon. Circa 1850.
This piece can be hung horizontally or vertically. It is extremely large and heavy.
