Georgian Oak Tilt-Top Tripod Table, circa 1760–1800
A characterful country Georgian tilt-top table in oak, the circular three-plank top with beautiful aged patina and fine medullary ray figuring. Turned baluster column on a tripod base with outswept legs and pad feet, the base later darkened to a near-ebonised finish. A useful occasional table of good proportion and genuine period character.
