Georgian Oak Mule Chest of Drawers, 18th Century

A well-proportioned oak mule chest fitted with two short and two long graduated drawers arranged in two banks of three, each drawer face divided by a central applied moulding to give the appearance of six drawers. Standing on later bracket feet, with a moulded edge to the top and reeded canted corners. Fitted throughout with later rococo-style brass swan-neck handles and original or later oak-lined drawers. Good rich colour and patina to the oak, with visible tooling and wear consistent with age.
