Georgian Oak Chest of Drawers, 18th Century

A small country oak chest of drawers, dating to the Georgian period. Configured with two short drawers over two long graduated drawers, each fitted with turned wooden knob handles and original brass escutcheons. Standing on shaped bracket feet, with a moulded edge to the top.

The piece has a rich, dark patina to the oak, with honest wear consistent with age and use throughout. A characterful, useful small chest, well suited to a bedroom or hallway setting.
