A good, honest Victorian side table in mahogany, the rectangular top with rounded corners and a moulded edge above a plain frieze fitted with a single central drawer retaining its original turned wooden knob. Raised on well-turned legs with ring-turned detail terminating on small turned feet.

The top shows the honest patina and minor marks of age and use consistent with a working piece of the period. A versatile and unpretentious table, equally useful as a lamp table, bedside, or hall piece.
