Antique Anglo-Indian Carved Hexagonal Occasional Table

Antique Anglo-Indian occasional table in the Kashmiri manner, with a hexagonal top richly carved in low relief with dense scrolling foliage, flowers and a central palmette medallion, within a carved floral border. The apron panels are carved with further flowers and leaves, and the table stands on six turned and fluted legs with bulbous, lotus-style detailing, linked by shaped Moorish arches. Constructed in a dark, richly patinated hardwood, probably walnut. Some light wear consistent with age.
