Fully Restored POA

Very rare pair of vintage integrated wine fridges by Chambrair, made in Germany, in a rich teak-toned timber finish. (Only the left hand fridge is shown here) These came out of a chalet in Switzerland and have been fully restored and refurbished. They are tall, narrow two-compartment cabinets designed to sit within fitted joinery. Each compartment has its own glazed door with a timber frame and a brass knob, and each door has a lock. The doors are hung on brass pin hinges, and the glass carries the etched oval Chambrair cartouche. A small recessed panel sits above each compartment where you can control the temperature for red or white wine. A slatted ventilation plinth below the lower door stands on bracket feet.

Inside, the compartments are lined with perforated metal panelling and aluminium trim, and fitted with black coated wire shelves, with five in the upper compartment and five in the lower. The contrast between warm timber outside and utilitarian metal within gives it a smart, architectural look, well suited to a kitchen, pantry, wine cellar or restaurant. It is available as a left-hand or right-hand hinged pair, so two can be placed together or either end of a run of cabinetry. The combined cabinets can hold 140 bottle of wine or champagne.

POA Price on Application

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0049/7854/0662/files/C71DADA8-BD02-48A7-9BA7-14145D616562.jpg?v=1791567615
https://littentreeantiques.com/products/pair-of-vintage-chambrair-integrated-wine-fridges-manufactured-in-germany-fully-restored
